Word and RTF copies, and errata sheets
- Transcripts rendered from today can be downloaded as a Word (DOCX) and a Rich Text (RTF) file once unlocked, with the transcript's page and line numbers, its page breaks, the word index and the exhibit index. Each file is read back and compared with your transcript before it is offered. For a transcript rendered earlier, re-render it (free) to get them.
- The order form adds an errata sheet when the transcript states that the witness reserved reading and signing and has no errata page of its own. You can add or remove it, and pick the wording: generic or a draft state template (California, Texas, New York, Florida) that you review before use.
- The errata sheet, the witness declaration and a short reporter's note are added after the transcript (after the certificate and any pages that follow it). The testimony and the certificate are never changed.
- On a re-render you can attach the witness's signed errata as a scan; it is added after the transcript. Re-renders stay free.
- Repository publications can include the Word and RTF files. They are never password-protected, so they cannot go in a read-only publication, or in any publication when your organization delivers protected copies only.
